My goldfish died over the past weekend. That may seem insignificant, but we won her about six or seven years ago at a carnival (on my mom's birthday, no less...no fish dinner for her that night; she felt too bad) and goldfish usually don't last that long. Plus, she was my first pet. Ever. It's depressing. I miss her; I really do. Every morning, I go into our spare room to blow dry my hair (where we used to keep Rainbow's tank), and I look to where her tank should be, and I feel like crying. sad
Rest in peace, my friend. May you swim forever in an endless aquarium.
