Asthma?

You know what? Medical insurance sucks. D:
They're so picky about what medications they'll cover.

I couldn't get my Allegra, that I know works. Instead, I have to go back to playing guinea pig with other allergy medications.
And because the pharmacy is so slow out here, I can't actually get the stuff for another week. So I'm stuck on some Claritin wannabe, and freaking asthma meds (children's asthma meds, at that. it was all the doctor's office had..).

I don't even have asthma!
Of course, when has that stopped them before. It beats the heck out of having to use an inhaler again. Those things make me all dizzy. >_>
(That was fun. Last one I had was for PE. I went from not being able to breathe after running or something, to not being able to even stand up because my head wouldn't stop spinning...).

Fuuuun.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In other news... Squish got her first collar today. =D
It's just a flea collar, but it still makes her look so cute.
She doesn't like it so much, but it's good for her.
She does have fleas. We're trying to make her less itchy,
and remove the possibility of bringing fleas into the house. >_>
It was funny, putting it on her. She started jumping around, running in circles, and rolling all over the ground, trying to pull it off her neck.
Kitty break-dancing!
She's pretty much accepted it now.
I swear she's even strutting around showing it off. XD
I have a normal collar I want to put on her (when I can take her flea collar off), but I need to take the bell off of it first.
As an outdoor cat, it probably wouldn't be a great idea to have something on her collar that tells every animal in the neighborhood where she is. >_>
    Eeeeehhh...flea collars? Those can be so bad for cats, though, have you taken her to a vet (wait, she might be too young to go, huh?) or given her a bath?
    My parents would never take her to a vet.
    She's not important enough... I guess. D:
    I could try giving her a bath. My mom would probably get mad if I used Kilala's foam bath stuff on her though... and I don't know how well sticking her in water is going to work. She's vicious, and she still has her claws. I might still try though. She did let me wipe her down with water once, when it was like 100 degrees outside.
    The flea collar was my mom's idea. They haven't been bad for any of the kitties we've had so far. You just have to make sure they can't get a hold of them to chew on them. Squish can't reach hers. She already tried.
    I guess if she's not important enough to take to the vet (...umm...spaying? Shots? Have those been done?) your parents wouldn't consider Frontline, huh? That stuff's actually pretty effective...although she'll hate you for putting that foreign stoof on her. razz
