“Me?. . . My name is Sarinilli. My friends may call me ‘Sari’. However, if you are not yet counted amongst my friends. . . Be forewarned, I do not take kindly to rudeness.” She said while lounging in an old tattered plush armchair.
“Your interest in me is...somehow amusing,” Said Sarinilli before she grinned slightly, fangs shining in the dim moonlight which streamed in through tall windows. A quiet sigh escaped her lips. “Well, as you please.”
“I consider myself fortunate to have awoken as a 'night wanderer' as it were. Though, this young visage has its drawbacks at times. However,” she stated in a whimsical tone with a wave of the hand, “It is of no real concern. I do have my ways, after all.” A very quiet laugh echoed off the walls of the large dimly lit room.
“My true age... is none of your business,” Sarinilli said in a playful tone laced with what sounded as though the thought alone to pursue the matter may kill.
She stood, her skirt ruffling as the frills fell around her. The slow steps rang through the room as she slowly made her way to the window.
“Blood...” she said after what seemed like an eternity, “I've no time right now for a chat.” As the last word rolled off her lips, lightning flashed, filling the room with light. As the glare vanished, she was gone.
