Most of the time Sarafina appears to be human, She looks human eats like a human and walks in the Sun. This is all because of two ear clips that she has, one on each ear.
With out the clips She has point ears and her fangs are visible. She'll only take her clips off at night.

What is the connection between her and Idoma:
Idoma used the fake name of Ikana and won over Sarafinas heart. He returned 3 days after the attack, devastated by her death he killed all of the bandits and returns to the village every year with flowers.
The two do not realize who the other is and it leads to many arguments.
