you know how i feel
though i will not admit
when my heart seem so heavy,
my life filled with grit.
you know when i lie
or feel like i'm down
somehow you know
how to turn that around.
you hold me close
and make things right
even when i'm unhappy
you make my life bright.
you shine like a star
in my olive green eyes
even when my tears flow
you can make them dry.
so many times
you have stopped my heart sore
and may it continue
forever and more.
