this is another poem....
I just want to be alone
Yes, I know its Valentines Day
I don't want your hugs or kisses
Just leave me here, by myself

I feel safer when I'm alone
Then when I am with you
Do you think that's strange?
I do too

I know what today is
I know that we are suppose to love
Yet, I just want to be free of this holiday
And fly on the wings of a dove

Is that too much to ask of you
Don't you know the saying?
"If you let what you love go,
And it comes back to you,
Then it was meant to be yours?"
Well that saying is so very true

Just let me go, yes today
Just let me spread my wings and soar
I need out, just for now
If I come back, then I am yours

I wrote this a long time ago...like a year ago oh wait more then a year ago because I wrote this on Valentines day.
