Went for my MRI's today. While MRI's are not fun I didn't expect any significant pain. Wow was I wrong. First they took me to this room where they injected a die into my shoulder...not so bad. Then they used an x-ray machine to read the dye to see where to inject the dye into my muscle. It went like this. Tech: "Ok I'm going to numb you," Me: "ok.." not knowing what to expect. Then a needle was inserted. Tech: "Does this hurt?" Me: "SCREAM" "Tech: I'll take that as a yes." This was repeated about six times! The receptionist came in and said I was scaring people in the waiting room! My bad. So finally she said "Does this hurt?" and no scream...no pain YAY. So they took the MRIs a bit uncomfortable but no big..I came home all cool. My shoulders numb, no pain happy Susan. About 15 minutes latter I'm crying in pain. I can't raise my arm. Not that it hurts too much, I can't like it's frozen or something! So tomorrow I'll call and ask "Is this normal?" Meanwhile it hurts all the time, even with Vicadine! Ok enough whining..thanks for listening..um reading.
