She sat in her room with her knees pulled close to her chest. Her body hurt like hell, well that was putting it lightly. Her long slightly curly white hair cascaded over her shoulder blowing slightly as air came down from her ceiling fan. She wrapped her arms around her knees and rocked slowly back and fourth. The one event that had managed to break her, keep her locked up in her room for days, maybe moonths on end, as well as push her teammates from her. They had beat her, raped her, broke her spirit. The Anti-mutant activists known as the Friends Of Humanity, managed to capture the white haired weather whitch, and do those horrible things to her. Four months had passed since the incident, the members of the Anti-mutant group had been set free and let go back into what they did best and tried to destroy the mutant race.
Someone knocked at her door and she looked up at the door for a moment and went back to her position and placed her head back on her knees. The sound of a door click and the footsteps of two people entering her room caused her to look up at the two. One was a woman with a tray of food and red hair, Jean grey one of the other telepaths besides professor Charles Xavier. The other was Beast, the blue-fured doctor Also known as Hank Mcoy. Jean placed the tray of food on Storm's nightstand, as Beast Bent down to her and spoke softly to her. He helped Storm onto her feet and over to her bed helping her sit down. Storm let out a slight moan and layed back on her bed. Jean was needed to keep Storm calm being that she often didn't want to be touvhed since the incident and fought back.
"Shhh Storm is alright its just us." Jean said softly, amost comforting her.
"Yes, we mean you no harm, we're just here to check on you and bring you dinner." Hank said.
Storm shifted a bit and rubbed her stomach. Twins from what she had been told so long ago. Well a few months ago at least. She sat up and leaned against her headboard.
"Must be more comfortable for you." Jean said and helped hank conduct the examination.
Storm nodded and moaned lightly, when Hank pressed on her stomach. Hank looked up at her and nodded in apolgy. She nodded back and held still and rubbed the side of her belly. She smiled a bit once she heard the babies heartbeats.
"They seem well enough now, i'll come check on you in another three weeks." Hank said and patted her belly and left with Jean.
She swung her legs over the side of her bed and started eating slowly. She loved it when Jean cooked, seeing as how her cooking had ways of easing her stomach, and morning sickness. She finished the meal within half an hour and went back to her corner. She placed her hands on her stomach and looked outside hearing the birds chirping. She smiled a bit at the sounds and soon found herself falling asleep.
She woke up later that night nearly screaming, having just woken up from the memory of the rape incident. Her breathing was fast at first until she realized where she was and slowed her breathing down some. It was nightime now, thank the goddess for that. She pushed herself from the wall and stood up a slight moan escaping her lips as she put a hand to her back and rubbed her stomach. She smiled a bit and walked out onto her balcony and enjoyed the breeze that had been passing over the city. She heard something downstairs, two people arguing for that matter. She wondered what the fuss was about and decided to go see what was going on. She walked out of her room and down the hallway, and out onto the stairway that led down to the main room. She leaned on the railing her long white hair falling over her shoulders.
"Scott you can't rush her, these things take time." Jean said from her spot on the couch.
"Yes but you know how storm is she usually bounces back from these kinds of things within a week, its been four months now!" Scott said back leaning on the couch.
"Can ya blame the gal though, who would have guessed the Friends Of Humanity would do something that degrading?" Rouge asked.
Everyone in the room was quiet and thought on Rouge's question. That was a good question, why would they do such a thing, and to one of the mutant race at that?
"Probably because they knew they'd be able to get away with it." Logan said, his claws extended and he growled low.
"And they got away with it." Jubilee said crossing her arms over her chest.
"I feel sorry for Storm though." Jean said.
"Speaking of Storm, how long you been listening to us darling?" Logan asked looking up at her.
Storm turned her head away. "Enough to be sick of it." She said softly and walked downstairs.
Jubilee went over to her and hugged her. Storm returned the hug, and stepped back from Jubilee. She looked around at the others and walked over to the couch and sat down beside Rouge.
"You feel alright?" Rouge asked, somewhat surprised to see Storm out of her room.
"Never better." She said.
In truth she would like nothing better than to tear those FOH members limb from limb for what they did to her. She clenched her hand and unclenched it as she remembered what had happened to her.
"Be a good girl and we might go easy on you." One of the members of the FOH said to her. Storm struggled against them as did unmentionable things to her. By the time they were done with her, they had left her broken and crying.
"Storm...Storm?" Rouge asked noticing Storm had a blank look on her face.
"I hate them, but i suppose its ony in human nature to do such things." She said and looked at the other for a while longer and got up and walked outside and down to her garden.
