I'm writing/drawing a manga called "Asterisk." Can you tell I'm obsessed? The manga's story line is awesome, which I won't spoil, for chances of it being taken/spoiled to others. That would be terrible and it would make me cry. And you don't want me crying, right?
So, when creating the characters for the manga, such as their staple outfits, their hairstyles, expressions, and overall aura, one usually creates what is called a Standee, a full-body drawing/sketch of the character, usually posed in a casual or guarded way, depending on their personality. Well, I dislike having my characters just shlump around, so I wanted to have them posing in mid-air. That would mean they are jumping. Which would not make them standing. Hence, Jumpees.
I'm very pleased with the results, though my scanner seems to not be drawing-friendly, to my deepest regret and lament, but I also chucked in a full-sized, Anime character sketch of my avatar in it's current outfit. the pose is different, but I like it!

Ta-da!!!! I should color it to make it look more convincing, but.... *sigh* I can't color on the computer, and I guess that just leaves me the good 'ole color pencils... I shall try! xp
