Here's some advice if you give a s**t about your reputation in college. If you think it's conveniant to work at the book store, don't do it.

"No, your book's not in yet."
"We're not sure when it'll be in."
"Really, it's out of our hands."
"I'm sorry our system is down."
" [30 minutes later] Yes, our system's still down."
"Really, it's out of our hands."
"Yes, that's how much you owe."
"Yes, that's our return policy"
"Yes, that's our return policy "
"Yes, I'm sure."
"I'm sorry, the system is down... again."
"No, that book still isn't here yet."
"It's not in the back either."
"System's down... again. Sorry."

In short, everyone will hate you.
