I woke up sometime later in a room on a bunk and i groaned hearing Toboe whine a lil before i was jumped by the cyote looking dog. I blinked a lil and then they patted me on the back and let me go play with Toboe who had been given a keroseen bath to get rid of fleas and a normal bath to get ride the karoseen. He ran up to me and i booked it across the sand with him laughing as my friends came up from the sides of me "GO BACK YOU GUYS!!" i heard someone shout as a jeep came close to us and pulled to a stop infront of us. "If you go any further you'll be out side of base's comand." They said and we blinked at him before turning back around and heading back to the tents that were set up. We lounged around boredly before a man who we learned was the Ranger comander gave us some stuff to do so we wouldnt be bored. It was running laps around the base and leraning how to stand at attention and what not.
Later that night Skye came back in from patrols and saw us practicing our rolls and he laughed at us. Walking over he gave us some tips and showed us how to roll still in his patrol uniform and gear. "show off." i muttered as Erik got into a fight with the ranger leader and Skye pulled him off. "SKYE CONNORS!!!" shouted the ranger general and we all froze. "Keep your FAMILY IN LINE!!" shouted the man and Skye saluted him "HOOAH sir!" he replied quickly and we walked off to antoher part of camp. Skye gave us a lecture we only half listened to. After that we had to go to bed in a tent that someone had extra and Skye was put in it as well.
The next morning we had to do formations with everyone else so incase someone was watching we were just young new rangers. Mine and Kaydin's bullet proof vests hid the fact that we were girls since the Rangers didnt allow girls into their ranks. Skye the rest of the day had to teach us a bunch of hand signals before he was sent on Patrol. After Skye was sent on patrol we were left in the hands of Ranger General for more training. We found out that they couldnt send us back to our respectiv states with out raising a lot of red flags so we'd have to go back when Skye was sent home. So this was the reason why we were staying and learning all these things. I sighed and banged my head on the desk i was sitting at. The comander slapped my helmet on my head and told me to start running. I sighed and booked it out of the tent with Toboe behind me. They had to let us keep Toboe and Budu seeing as how we were so attached to them. About 20mins later we collapsed in the shade of a tent gasping and covered in sweat. "ehhhh. I dont know how Skye can do this..." i panted out and someone laughed "SHUT UP!" i shouted to them making them laugh even more.
Skye came back that night and showed us how to assemble and take apart a gun plus clean it. Toboe kept taking the blank bullets i had and so i had to chase him around most of the lesson. We went to bed after that.
Around midnight that night we woke up hearing gun shots and loud screams and shouting. We all bolted out of bed shouting "WHAT THE ********!?" Skye yanked us all down to the ground an told us to put our stuff on and gave us some guns we had been using for the lessons earlier. "Stay quite and low!" he said as we struggled to get our vests on while staying low to the ground. He ran out of the tent already dressed and ready to roll. "RPG!!!" i heard a scream and suddenly i was laying on my side my ears ringing and sand all around. "KAYCE! KAYDIN!! ERIK DAVE!!!!??? ARE YOU OK!?" came a loud shout threw the rining in my ears. I let out a groan before everything went black.

I growled and i was yanked up and out of the bed by someone much bigger then me and i yelped opening my eyes to see i was looking down at one of huge guys i had sorta befriend the few days i was here. He was holding me over his head by my upper arms and my legs dangled just near his chest. "ALRIGHT IM UP!!" i shouted and he set me down. Skye being not only a sniper but a feild medic came over and checked me out and i protested to him flashing that damn light in my eyes.
After i was Ok'ed every one told me what had happened. A group of insurgens had attacked the base cause some idiot had fallen asleep during his patrol. I sighed and shook my head softly. "After that RPG came we thought we were done for." said Dave "My body still hurts from that." said Kaydin with a growl. I suddenly couldnt focus on and my mind went haywire. I growled softly drawing my 4friends attention. "Wait...Kayce you take meds dont you?" asked Skye and i nodded my head softly. "What kind of meds are they?" he asked. "there my meds that keep me from going crazy postal on every one." i muttered and they sighed. "Will you be ok with out them?" asked skye. "I dont know...I probly wont be able to focus on anything and be spazy but yeah i'll be ok." i said "good." said Kaydin "Everyone get some sleep we have a long day tommarow." said Skye standing up and ruffing my hair in a friendly manner. I basicly passed out after that and slept like a rock threw the Ranger comander's Morning wake up routines.

Comander finaly called me to a stop and grabbed my shoulders holding me still. "You okay kid?" he asked and i looked at a scorpion run across the sand. "Hey focus." he said snapping his fingers catching my attention. "Are you ok?" he asked again. "yeah yeah im fine." I muttered before getting my attention shifted again on something moving. Skye came up behind him and laid a hand on Comander's shoulder. "Sorry sir my sister hasnt had her meds and is going to be a lot like that till she has them again." he said softly. Comander sighed loudly and tapped my helmet getting my attention again. "ADD?" He asked "A lil. With a lil ADHD." i replyed simply. Toboe came running up and i ran up to him and hugging the dog. "I can tell." he muttered.
I ran off around the base with Toboe and Skye burning off waves of energy. Kaydin, Dave, and Erik watched me running around and sighed unable to fathom as to why i was so full of energy. By midnight i was still pacing and running around the tent so Comander gave me night patrol. I harassed the guys for about 3hrs before falling asleep in the middle of a sentence.
