Is it worth being famous now a days?
Many celebrities cannot live in peace anymore. All they do and say is monitored. I would not like this to happen to my worst enemy. Sure, they would this will happen, but I doubt they really enjoy it. I would definitely hate it. Why do people even care about these people? Do they not have anything to do themselves? I guess people just like wasting time and money trying to know as much about these "stars" as possible. I prefer not being a dumbass and spend my money and time on things that are worth doing.
What is it that makes people pursue these celebrities? Because they wish to become them? Or is it really because of a surplus of time and money? Who cares anyway?
One thing is for sure, it is these people that make other people into stars. Without them they are nothing, even though they might be great at singing or acting or whatever. Maybe that is why they try to please them so much.
Personally I could live in a world without celebrities. Would it not be a much better world then? Without "ideals" to live up to? Without spending lots of ressources only to find out that we are losers anyway?
