I sit in the corner watching
life pass me by.
I am alone in this world.
No one ever notices me.
So I just sit here.
I watch people fall in love.
I watch them grow old.
I watch them fade away.
And still I sit here unnoticed.
I see the fools waste their lifes
away.
I see the carnage of car accidents
and still sit unphased.
I sit back and relax to the songs of
the birds.
I see you but you never see me.
I watch funerals.
I see new life brought into the world.
And still I sit in a corner watching
unnoticed by everyone.
You walk right past me not knowing
that I exsist.
To you I am just another member of
the faceless masses.
So I sit unseen and watch life unfold
before my eyes.
