Ah, Slave Day. Regrettably, this is not a reference to the lives of those who have been cruelly tossed into slavery, past and present. It would almost be better if it was.
No, no, Slave Day is a day where it is pouring buckets of rain outside like the pearly gates have been smashed open by a great Heavenly flood, the parents are as angry as heck, and the whole house miraculously needs a super-scrubbing. Yes, the mere coincidences all occur, which then creates a Slave Day, where my brother and myself are to scrub the baseboards, clean the cabinets, organize photo albums online, tidy our rooms, dispose of unwanted items, complete summer homework, and, when the rain finally stops, mow the lawn and sweep the drive way and back patio.
That, my friends, is Slave Day.
That, my friends, was today.
On a much lighter note, I got to listen to the wonderful song "Wind" by Akeboshi. Most people will respond to this statement with a "Huh?" but you Naruto fans will understand. I trust you guys. wink
Another highlight is "Passion" by Utada Hikura. This is better known by the Kingdom Heart fans, more commonly referenced by it's English version, "Sanctuary." Bleh. "Passion" version is better. xp
Now I'm scanning a bullion of pictures. Why? Don't ask me. Oh, that's another good song! "Don't Ask Me" by O.K. Go!
Alright, I'll shut up now.
