CP9 (シーピーナイン, Shī pī nain) is a "stupid" organization, formed of people able to use Rokushiki, six powerful skills only known to its members. CP9 also has special privileges not available to normal Cipher Pol squadrons, like the permission to kill any person perceived as a threat to world stability. The organization seeks the plans to a powerful, ancient warship, called Pluton, the same ship mentioned in Alabasta's Poneglyph that was Sir Crocodile's main objective, in order to bring an end to the Great Pirate Era. The CP9 are based in Enies Lobbys' Tower of Justice, where they act as the final guardians of the Gate of Justice.

New series: Reborn information!READ IT! well...er most of it
WELCOME VONGOLIANS! to the main Vongola Family Forum page of Gaia! I am Sawada Tsunayosi(vongola X) and I welcome you the Vongola family, there are numerous positions including Assain, explosives expert, kniver man, gloved fighter, The varia(mafia elites), and the Arcobaleno(rainbow, elite elite) Below is some information on our previos Mafia bosses,

Giotto a.k.a Vongola I
The first head of the Vongola family. He started the Vongola family 400 years before the start of the story. He and Tsuna both use gloves as their primary weapon.

Vongola III
All that is currently known about him is that he uses knives to fight.

Fabio a.k.a Vongola VII
The seventh head of the Vongola family. His flame was considered to be weak in terms of the other heads. In order to counter that weakness, he used guns that focused his flame as his primary weapon. Although he had a weak flame, his mastery of marksmanship gave him one of the highest attacks in all of the Vongola heads.

Timoteo a.k.a. Vongola IX

Vongola IX with a young Tsuna. The current head of the Vongola crime family.

The Vongola IX's stamp is the Dying Will Flame; he marks documents with his flame, proving they are official.

He initially accepted Iemitsu's son, Tsuna, as the next head of the Vongola Family, but soon changed his mind and decided that his son, Xanxus, was more worthy to become the next boss. Since Iemitsu wants Tsuna to become the 10th boss, the IX sanctioned the traditional Vongola battle; those who wield the same ring will have a one-on-one battle.

It was later revealed that he was not the one that sanctioned the battle, but a fake IX that Xanxus had appointed. When Xanxus found out that the real IX would not appoint him as the next boss, he kidnapped the IX and placed him within Gola Mosca's armor, draining him of his life energy. When Tsuna sliced Gola Mosca's armor in half, an extremely weakened IX was revealed to be inside. Before passing out, he was able to use his flame to show Tsuna his past; the IX used to visit Tsuna when he was just a child.

In the Future arc, he has been unaccounted for since the Millefiore Family raided the main Vongola headquarters.

Chrome Dokuro

Chrome is chosen to be the holder of the Ring of Mist. She shares a body with Mukuro Rokudo. Usually, Chrome is in control of her body, but if she is in an extremely dangerous situation, her body is surrounded by mist and Mukuro takes control, along with the body changing to Mukuro's appearance. She was involved in an accident that caused her to lose her right eye and most of her body parts. Mukuro saved her by providing the necessary body parts through the use of his illusions. Chrome has been shown using one of Mukuro's six skills.

The Varia
The Varia is supposedly the Vongola Family's elite, independent assassination team. They are composed of genius assassins who work in the deepest recesses of the mafia. Each member takes on missions that are said to be impossible to accomplish by humans. Those that see them work often say that their high level assassination skills are demonic. They are extremely loyal to each other, especially to their leader Xanxus. Previously, the Varia would never reveal themselves, but, according to Reborn, the group became restless after a certain man disappeared. Each member of the Varia wears half of a Vongola ring.

Xanxus

XANXUS

Leader of the Varia and Vongola IX's son. He is both respected and feared by his subordinates; after Squalo failed to bring him the real halves of the Vongola rings, he smashed Squalo's face into the table. In order to retrieve the real rings, he went to Japan, to kill Tsuna and his 'family'.

Being the leader of the Varia, Xanxus is presumably extremely powerful; during the confrontation with Tsuna, Xanxus was about to perform a move that his subordinates claimed would kill them all, that is until Iemitsu arrived to stop him. He apparently has a strong dislike for Iemitsu.

Xanxus' past was revealed by Squalo. Apparently when Xanxus was a young child he was already able to use the Dying Will Flame. However, he was not born to the Vongola family (even so, Xanxus still had an intuition that rivaled that of one who did possess the bloodline), but instead his mother seemed to be an ordinary citizen in Italy who went delusional when she saw his flames, believing that he was the IX's child when he really was not. Xanxus was taken in by the IX, and loved him as if he really was the IX's real son. He became spoiled and grew to have a terrible temper. When Xanxus found out that he was not the IX's son, and that someone without the Vongola bloodline cannot become the next boss, he started hating the IX and began to plot his downfall.

After realizing that the ninth Vongola boss was going to appoint Tsuna as the next boss, he went berserk and planned to get rid of the IX. Long before the tournament against Tsuna, he had placed the IX within Gola Mosca's armor, in order for him to weaken the IX. When Tsuna destroyed Gola Mosca, he blamed him for killing the IX, and pretended to avenge him. Early on, during the tournament to determine the bearer of the rings, Tsuna was disqualified for saving Lambo, thus relinquishing his rights for the Ring of the Sky to Xanxus. Although, later on, Tsuna defeated Xanxus in battle and earned his place as the rightful bearer for the Ring of the Sky and as leader of the Vongola Family

Dino

Dino Chiavorone

The 10th generation boss of the Chiavorone crime family. Dino is a handsome young man with great skills as a fighter and an exceptional leader. His main weapons are a whip and his pet turtle, Enzio. Like Tsuna, Dino, at first, did not want anything to with the mafia and was also a klutz. He became a suitable mafia boss after Reborn became his home tutor. He came to be known as "Bucking-Horse Dino" (跳ね馬ディーノ, Haneuma Dīno?) ("Bronco Dino" in VIZ's translation) and fixed the Chiavorone's financial problems, turning them into the third most influential family. Unfortunately, Dino is so devoted to his family, that when none of his family members are around, his skills decrease dramatically, often accidentally hitting people with his whip and falling down the stairs.

Enzio - Dino's pet turtle, given to him by Reborn. It was revealed that, along with his whip, Enzio was created by Leon; Enzio can somehow be considered as Leon's child. He initially wanted Leon, but he was given Enzio instead. Enzio, when soaked in water, can get as big as a house and will begin to go on a rampage.

Longchamp Naito

Naito is the overly hyper, eighth generation Tomaso boss-in-training. He happens to attend the same school as Tsuna, but they only met in their second year when Naito ended up in the same class as Tsuna. Unlike Tsuna, Naito is excited about everything, including being part of the mafia. Though their families are rivals, he constantly befriends Tsuna, even inviting him to his house and going on group dates. Naito is known to have a unique taste in women, always dating weird and, most would consider, "not-so-cute" girls; also, he usually has a new girlfriend everytime Tsuna meets him. He also has a weird habit of collecting unusual things, including dead batteries and condiment packets.

Byakuran

The boss of the Millefiore family. He appears to insist that his subordinates call him by his name. His name means White Orchid.

Reborn

Holder of the Yellow pacifier.

The infant hitman, who becomes Tsuna's home tutor, and drags him into becoming a mob boss. The current head of the Vongola family sent Reborn to train Tsuna. He is Vongola IX's most trusted hitman. Despite being a mere one year old infant, he behaves as a seasoned mafioso.

When at Tsuna's school, Reborn usually hides in the fire extinguisher cabinet, but has several other hidden compartments all around town. Reborn often says "Ciao-su" (a mix of the Italian "ciao" and the Japanese "osu", which is a casual male greeting equivalent to the English "Yo!" or "Wassup!" wink . He appears to see nothing unusual in any of his own behavior and has an unlimited supply of various clothing.

Since he is an official member of the Vongola Family, other than to shoot special bullets, he is not allowed to directly interfere with most of Tsuna's battles, since they are usually against other Vongola members. He is however allowed to defend against attacks directed solely at him, first shown when he was attacked by Kyoya.

Leon - Reborn's chameleon companion, who sits on Reborn's fedora. He can change shape and color as per Reborn's desire, provided he is familiar with the object he will turn into and the object is roughly his size. The bullets used by Reborn are created inside Leon. When his tail falls off, his shape-shifting abilities becomes unstable and is no longer able to create bullets. Although, his tail falling off is a sign that Reborn's student is gradually progressing. After this stage, Leon will create special items for the student, then return to his normal self (For Dino, Leon created Enzio and a whip; for Tsuna, Leon created the Rebuke Bullet and the X-Gloves).

THE Arcobaleno

Colonello

Holder of the Blue pacifier.

Colonello is in charge of the training ground behind Mafia-Land and was a former member of the COMSUBIN, an elite Italian Navy unit. Colonello acts like a rival towards Reborn and vice-versa. They would often consider each other's attacks weak and then proceeds to attack the other. Though they are rivals, he shares many traits with Reborn, like being a merciless tutor, suddenly taking naps, and having a sharp tongue.

Being a former military member, Colonello is not averse to using heavy artillery; he was able to destroy an entire fleet of ships with one anti-tank rifle.

An eagle on top of his head helps him fly to distant places in a short amount of time. It also seems to be in synch with Colonello; when Colonello naps, the eagle naps.

In the Future arc, it is suggested that Colonello used to be an adult before he became an Arcobaleno, and that he was trained by Lal.

Skull

Holder of the Purple pacifier.

Head of the combat forces of the Calcassa Family. He wears a full leather outfit and a motorcycle helmet, which is copied by all his subordinates.

However, Skull is not as powerful of an infant as Reborn and Colonello, having been beaten by Reborn (before his first appearance in the manga) with great ease. He's looked down upon by the other two and was even called stupid by them. He calls the two his senpais and is easily irritated by Reborn's comments about him and his pet octopus; Reborn keeps telling him to eat the octopus already. Reborn considers Skull as always being someone's errand boy and Skull, to his dismay, doesn't deny the fact that the only person he was an errand boy to was with Reborn.

Skull's pet is a giant armored octopus. The octopus' tentacles follows Skull's hand and finger movements.

Marmon

Holder of the Indigo Pacifier.

A member of the elite assassination team, the Varia. He has half of the Ring of Mist, thus battling Chrome in the main hallway of Namimori High. Though he almost defeats Chrome, the tables turns against him once Mukuro takes possession of Chrome's body. As a result, Marmon is defeated by Mukuro and loses the right to the Ring of Mist to Chrome. In the Future arc, he is said to be dead.

He has the special power to find a person's location by sneezing into a piece of paper (he carries a roll of paper with him); the spit or mucus that sticks to the paper shows a map leading to the desired person. He, like Mukuro, can create illusions.

His real name is Viper, and he has a black frog that lies on top of his head.

Verde

Holder of the Green pacifier.

He has yet to be shown, but he was briefly mentioned by Reborn in volume 7 of the manga as the person who sent two assassins to kill Tsuna (which failed). Apparently, his subordinates have suits that can make them invisible to everyone but children. Since he too is a child, Verde believed that he should be able to see his subordinates, in case they ever try to sneak up on him to try and kill him.

Lal Milch

A female member of the Arcobaleno, who considers herself as one of the weakest members. Although she assists Reborn's team in current time, she ends up as a major ally for Tsuna after he and Reborn are sent nine years and ten months into the future through Lambo's "Ten-Year Bazooka". Since the rest of the Arcobaleno are dead in the future, Lal continues to age, and also suffers from an illness due to a "defect" and overexposure to the Negative Seven Rays. She is also part of the Vongola's CEDEF, or Outside Advisors.

At first, she planned to attempt Byakuran's assassination alone, but is later convinced by Reborn to train Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto. As their instructor, she is very tough; she blatantly ignored Lambo's existence, and is so strict as to send Yamamoto and Tsuna flying with a punch because Yamamoto could not understand what she was saying and Tsuna could not use the ring.

According to Reborn, she shows her emotions easily and is very readable. In chapter 147 of the manga, it was revealed that Lal Milch was Colonello's former instructor in the COMSUBIN.
