So, another class day done with, another test well taken. It feels good to just finish a test.
Anyways, yesterday at Blockbuster, I got to stop thieves. Isn't that awesome? I've done it once before, but there were three this time! It was great! We already knew the three were thieves, so when they came into the store we had our eye on them. Two went to go ask a bunch of useless question in our movie section, while one went to the game section. To bad for the guy trying to steal the Xbox controller that I happen to love talking about video games to customers. I walk up and say some greeting and he ducked low to the ground 'pretending' to be looking at the games on the bottom shelf. He asks me if we have some random title game, I think he said GTA for the Xbox, but I knew we didn't have it. I said no, and then he said "Maybe you should check the computer." Normally, I would have laughed because I seriously know we don't have it. But the guy still hadn't even looked at me.
Thats when I noticed he was holding the controller and it dawned on me that he was most likely stealing it. I told him I would take the controller to the front for him so that it would be ready, and he told me if he wanted it he would take it up. Well, I was about to leave him alone and go tell the manager I thought he was stealing but Anothey came up behind me and handed me a sticky note saying 'He's a known thief.' So I told the guy as I was walking away that he should pay attention to the camera on the ceiling. He got all bent out of shape at that and went up to the front to complian that I accused him of stealing. Sure enough, the controller he brought up was half open and the two in the movie section left.
Another day saved by ... You average Blockbuster Emplyee! Quickly! To the movie cave and game-mobile!
