Haha don't worry, Ka-kun. I was perfectly safe. ^.^

Don't go to the Blockbuster up on Lake Mead and Hollywood---it sucks. That's where we went to get scary movies, and the selection was pathetic. It was so pathetic, I forgot which movies we had originally planned to get.

So we got: Dead Silence, The Messengers, the original Amityville Horror, Texas Chainsaw Massacre the Beginning, and Pumpkinhead (Brady's idea, not mine)

Amityville was so ******** boring and cheesy and long and did I mention boring? The Messengers was pretty good, I really hate the crawling dead people. It's like OMG why must you do that?! Dead Silence was actually not that bad. My sister was all hiding in the theatre behind Ciro, so I expected it to scare the piss outta me, especially because tough Brady got "creeped out". But it wasn't that bad at all. Pumpkinhead was soooo stupid. It's like, "Wow, learn to act and get better CG effects. I fell asleep toward the end, at about midnight. Conked out. I woke up at 12:33 to a dark living room and Brady on the other couch, out too. So we didn't watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Which sucks. I shoulda watched that one before Pumpkinhead. Maybe I wouldn't have fallen asleep. Anyway.

So yeah. I woke up at like... four-thirty, just POP wide awake. Dunno why. Couldnt go back to sleep. Watched the sun rise... fell asleep again at about 5:30. Brady said work tried to call him in at six. Pfft. Then he drove me to Dad's house at about 9:30. When I opened the garage he was like, "I'm not gonna get shot if I go in there, am I?" Haha that's sad, he already knows my father all too well and he's never met him. Well. He did. And it was all fine and dandy, until after he left Cort asked me at breakfast, "Did Brady go home last night?"

I tried to keep it low, "No. He slept. On the other couch."

Dad turned and glared at me with his fists on his hips. Then later he was like, "What's the deal with brady? Is he your boyfriend? And he spent the night??? Unacceptable. I can't believe your mother went for that. Unacceptable. Don't spend the night. Unacceptable"

Wowwww. It's a good thing he didn't learn that while Brady was standing in the kitchen. I'd have to hold him down to let Brady escape. I had half the desire to tell him we've already slept in the same house before, and on the same COUCH that time. But then I'D have to run for my life.
