Imagine, if you will, a school. You go to this school along with peers of your age. I go to this school as well, along with your three best friends. Graduation day is close at hand and your finals are long over. There is nothing that could be better and its as if God is smiling at you.
However, the day before graduation day, you and all of your classmates (Including me and your three best friends) are taken on a trip to an island. A small island of 10 Km in diameter, with several trees and bushes and small little wildlife, nothing big. Without warning, we are placed at diffrent locations on the island by ourselves. Each of us are handed a weapon. The weapons include: Guns (4), A pot lid, baseball bats, a radar that shows everyone on the island (1), a dart shooter with poison dart, sticks, swords, and other random hand-to-hand weapons. A person then comes onto a speakerphone and says this:
"Thank you, graduating class, for completeing your formal government paid education. However, most of you will not make it to the next level as you are now currently in a game. The rules of the game are simlpe, kill every other person. The last one still alive after everybody else is dead wins. Nobody will leave this island until the game is over. If the game isn't over in one days time, you shall all die... Go!"
With that said, they leave. Now you are on an island with about 50 other people. Once someone dies, their weapon is of no use. Please read through all of the scenario's from the following three below and answer the following question via PM or comment (I really want to hear the answers you guys have!) My friends and I have had lots conversation over this and I love new opinions. heart . ^_^
Scenario 1:
You have started off with a Magnum gun. You run through the jungle for about 30 minutes when you hear on the loud speaker that only 20 people still remain. You meet up with me and we manage to stay alive until only 3 other people remian. We haven't had to kill anyone. Racing into a clearing, we find them all. Two of them have baseball bats. The third one if one of your best friends and is only armed has a sword. I have the radar.
Question 1:
Would you kill the two with the baseball bats?
Question 2:
No matter what, they are dead. You now have the said best friend looking you in the eye. Would you kill them?
Question 3:
No matter how it came to be, your friend has died. Its now just me and you. Would you kill me?
Scenario 2:
You have started with a sword. Not long into the game you meet a paniced boy with a stick. He runs away once spotting your sword but only a few moments later comes running back, scared out of his mind.
Question 1:
Would you kill him or just see if he wants to run on by?
Question 2:
No matter what your last choice was, you are alone again. You spot another person up ahead of you crouching in the bushes. Its one of your best friends and they have a gun. Would you kill them?
Question 3:
Reverse time. You now spot the person in the bushes and before you can decide to kill them or not, they turn around. For a moment you two look at each other and your weapons at hand. Your best friend throws down the gun at your feet and says "Kill me,". Would you?
Scenario3:
You are at your spot on the island and the man in charge of the game lets you decide on any weapon you want to have. After choosing, he hands you his weapon and leaves.
Question 1:
What weapon did you choose and why?
Question 2:
You meet up with me in the forest after 3 hours of the game. Most of everyone is already dead and only two other remain. I have a cut through my leg and limp when walking. I have the poison dart shooter. I tell you that whatever you decide I will follow. What is your plan of action?
Question 3:
Disregarding the last question, it is now down to me, you and a random person. The random person has a tommy gun and is walking through an open field. We are well hidden in the surrounding bushes. You have lost whatever weapon you started with and all I have is the dart shooter. What is your plan of action?

Scenario 1
1 - Yes, I would kill them even though I have horrible aim.
2 - Yes, because being shot seems a lot less painful than being sliced by a sword
3 - I kinda have to. No hard feelings!
Scenario 2
1 - I would let him run by, because swords hurt.
2 - No, guns < swords
3 - No, they have to kill me. Wusses.
Scenario 3
1 - The 5 point exploding heart technique, of course!
2 - Hide in a tree and shoot people with the dart, incapacitate them with poison, and do the 5 point exploding heart technique
3 - I shoot them with the dart and run sideways to not be hit by the shot, then do the 5 point exploding heart technique. Then Uma Thurman and I will take on the Crazy 88s because we are that cool.
