It had been three sundowns since they left the holt. Mosat of the
time the only sounds were those coming from the woods. Even the elves'
bond friends had become uneasily silent.
**Xaryan.** Deerfur sent catiously.
"What Waterseeker?"
**When do we head back to the holt?** Jis thoughts were on the
gentle Maker, her shyness and her sparkling eyes.
**When I find Ghostcaller. You can leave now if you wish.**
Xaryan increased his pace, knowing that his companion would not leave
him.
"You know that I'm not going anytime soon. Why is it so important
for you to find this 'Ghostcaller'?"
Xaryan stopped and turned around. Several times he began and then
stopped not knowing what to say. He sat down on a nearby rock.
Xaryan's story blue eyes became cloudy as he remembered the and
searching he had.
"Ever since our jurney began, I have been searching. This wolf is
REAL! I feel it down to my soul, Deerfur. We are looking for each
other and if I don't find him then...who knows," Xaryan sighed.
**Have me. You my friend, not need other.** Brushbee whined.
Deception walked over and nudged Xaryan. She was silent for a
moment, gathering her thoughts. **If this important for you, I follow.
You my friend, friend to Ayala, Brushebee, other elf. We keep
looking.**
