I sit in the front of the classroom
With you behind me in the next row
You wait for the bell
To begin your pounce

The clock ticks away
Every second of pain
Bringing forth a new minute
For pain to seep into my skin

School the next day is difficult
With all the bruises and scrapes
Everyone asking questions
Only to be answered by a lie

I thought I could love you
But that was a lie as well
All the light in my eyes have faded away
Being replaced with a life of lies

I sit in the front of the classroom
And you shortly behind me
A devious smirk upon your face
Waiting for the bell to ring again

You can make me bleed
And break every bone in my body
There is only one thing you can't do
And that's break my spirit to go on
