Melissa drove the boat quietly through the water. The motor made a small humming sound that cut through the silence. She stopped the boat, she was where her dad and Matt normally swam and fished. She looked around and saw no one. She started moving again, maybe Matt had gone farther. A couple seconds later she came to a stop, the maker of where fishermen have to sotp adn turn around. NO one goes past it, but also no one knew what lie beyond it. Matt could have gone farther. She decides to move past it, to go farther. She starts the motor back up adn the boat moved on. The fog was moving in and it was now dark. The moon glowed bright, it was the only light she had to go by. SHe didn't want to waste the flashlight. The fog soon grew heavy. It was hard to see but Melissa could make out something in the distance.
