Running to keep up.
But soon I falter.
I lag, trip, and fall.
Left behind.
I no longer have the will to continue.
I give up.
I'm lost in time.
When people talk I have no clue.
I'm so confused.
Left behind.
Nothing I say makes sense.
Everyone thinks that I've finally lost it.
They all think about having me committed.
I fight tooth and nail.
I kick and scream.
I will not go willingly.
Not a chance.
The fight was lost before it even began.
It's over now I surrender.
I give up.
Now death takes me away.
And all my friends are left behind.
