"Let's play a game" you said.
I thought why not?
Now I can't find you and it's getting dark.
I shout for you to show yourself I give up.
And still you remain hidden.
I begin to get annoyed.
I wait a few more minutes and still you don't come.
I yell out that you can stay out here and rot for all I care.
Slamming the door and locking it behind me.
Shortly after I fall asleep.
I didn't here you bang on the door to let you in.
Morning comes and you're still not seen.
I begin to worry.
And then I see the news paper.
Your picture on the front page and headline that reads:
Girl dies after getting hit by car!
I cry.
It is all my fault.
If only I had looked a little harder.
