Free Falling in the limitless sky of life
to a falling drop of rain.
Following the lone path it takes
to reach the lonesome couple
They see the horizon
with open eyes,
hold hands tenderly
Why do they cry?
They hold hands with a fake smile
For now it has begun to rain
The sun fades away into the coulds
and so does one of the pair
The other sees nothing
and begins to cry
the warmth in her hand
forver lost by the chilling water
Soon the last drop has fallen
on to her tender smile
She awakens in the new sun
but with no love
to be by.
