"You're daughter? What might she look like?" the servant asked still abrubt but not unkind. Suzanna took a few deep breaths to steady herself.
"Umm, she's about this tall," she answered holding her hand up to her hips, " and she has brown eyes and her hair is shoulder length, it's brown too, and ummm, she usually wears a blue cotton dress, but she may be in her nightgown, it's white, and ummm, she goes by Lena, at least that's what I call her." Tears slipped from her eyes as the picture of her daughter filled her mind.
"I think she is here," the servant said all harshness had left her voice at the sight of Suzanna's tears.
"Really?" Suzanna brushed her eyes dry and looked up hopefull.
"Follow me if you please," the servant said and led Suzanna in the enormous house.
