As the tears silently fall,
do you even realize it is you killing me here,
the thorns from that rose, digging slowly into my heart
like never before, this pain is what I fear.
The thorns of time,
against the rose of the world
killing us slowly as my petals fall.
The blood from my broken heart
slowly trickles as the tears fall still
oh so silently.
You question yourself more,
as each thorn from that rose in your hand
painfully digs into my heart further
with each question.
I look up at you with dead eyes,
and tears going down my cheeks.
Can’t you see that you are killing me?
The thorns of time

You scream my name into the dark of the night
yelling at god and asking him why.
But why ask him why,
when you are the one doing the deed.
Do you no longer realize
that even though I do not seem alive
I am.
My eyes maybe blank
but you made me this way
You dug the thorns
deeper and deeper
into my already broken heart.

The tears still silently fall
You’ve killed me once and for all
Are you happy now?
