everyday passed,
reminding me of lessons to be learned.
opportunities pass me by,
showing methings to be earned

I do not know life as an adult sees it,
Only as a child or teen.
I can only guess what life is meant to be,
based on what i've seen

Today i learned of love,
and the pain that it might bear.
You can never learn a person's truth,
behind the mask they wear

I do not know the meaning of love,
or why it is never true.
I'm unsure of so many thingsthese days
I know less them i thought i knew

It's getting hard to decide bad from good
And although it sounds kinda lame...
Im a child misunderstood

I need to move past all the hurt and pain
Go to heaven from this hell
I need to stand up to others,
and myself all the same

If everyone has to go,
through all this torment and pain
If they could just understand what it is like,
there would be much gain

If they could only feel the burdan of their fears,
And know the cost of showing their tears

Life has its ups and downs,
much like a bumpy road.
if you just hang on,
you will learn to move on
