Complete Chapter One Of Projects |

2 Years ago:
It was in December, when the snow was whiter as ever and the nights were colder as well. It was a harsh, night...
Kris- Prof. I'm going out again, I'm going to get more blue moon flowers.
Prof.- Alright -he said while being busy- Just be careful, you know how these days people are out of their senses, you know what happened last time -he told her while patting her head and going back to working on an experiment-.
Rhyokyo- Can I go with her? -he said looking at Kris as if he couldn't take his eyes of her-.
Prof.- Of course not, you haven't finished your chores -he said and then he walked to another room to get more things to finish his "experiment"-.
Rhyokyo looked down sadly, he wanted to go with Kris and make sure nothing bad would happen to her. Kris went to him and gave him a hug so he would feel happier, also, she gave him a kiss on his cheek, he blushed and looked at her.
Kris- I wont be gone for long, I promise -she said while heading to the door and smiling as she walked out-.
Rhyokyo nodded as he went back to do his chores, so when Kris got back, he would have more time to spend with her.
Long hours passed, he finished all his chores for the day, he sat anxiously, waiting patiently for her return. He couldn't wait any longer, but he had no choice, he couldn't go out, the Prof. wouldn't let him. Until finally, someone came knocking on the door, he stood up but the Professor pushed him making him sit down again.
Prof.- Ill get it -he said walking up to the door-.
He opened the door just to find someone carrying Kris, she was bleeding and badly wounded, as the one carrying her tried to explain, words couldn't come out of him as he gave Kris to the Professor, the only words that came out of him were "They're coming" as he ran away. The professor couldn't believe, as he putted Kris on a bed, all her blood was dripping on the floor, the Professor was all in blood as well, as he ran out of the room thinking what could he do to save her, he went to get instruments as well, Rhyokyo walked in by curiosity, just to see Kris, dying, bleeding, giving her last moments. He quickly ran to her, he picked her in his arms and sat on the floor with her, his eyes were filled with tears, he was holding her as he watched her die.
Rhyokyo- Kris! -he said looking at her, crying- what happened?!?
Kris looked at him, with a tired look, but somehow happily...
Kris- Rhyokyo... -she said softly while with one hand touching his face softly- Just promise me... you wont forget me... -then she had something in her hand, she gave a pendant to him as a tear dropped from her eye-.
Rhokyo gently wiped her tear as he grabbed the pendant.
Rhyokyo- Kris please... -he said crying- Dont go... don't leave me alone... don't go where I cant follow... -he said with a low voice, his crying couldn't let him speak much-.
Kris couldn't speak no more, she tried but she moved her lips, indicating she said "I love you..." without voice, she let her hand fall, as she gave her last breath and closed her eyes.
Rhyokyo- Kris? Kris??? KRIS!!! -he screamed as hard as he could, he saw no response, no pulse, no breath... there was nothing else he could do... he embraced Kris's body, he hugged her and cried...-.
Then the rest happened so fast to him, the Professor took her from his arms, but he didnt wanted to let go, the Professor had no other choice but to put him to sleep, so he gave him a sleeping liquid, he hardly fell to sleep, he fought so hard... but he finally went to sleep, as the Professor tried his best, he managed to bring her back to life, using science and all sorts of vials and chemicals, this was his first experiment, this was his first Project, which he named...
Prof.- Kris... Project Zero... -he smiled- but... after this she cant stay here...
So the Professor found someone who could take care of Kris and teach her everything again, since she was revived, she forgot most of her past... she forgot about Rhyokyo.
Actual Time:
Xion- Ah... I'm tired as heck, cant we take a break? -sits down on the floor-.
Jixian- You're barely doing anything at all -constantly keeps cleaning everywhere- where's Rhyokyo anyways?
Xion- he finished early as usual... he must be in his dorm lying on the bed and staring at the sealing as he always does... -she said getting up and getting back to clean-.
Jixian- Eh... I remember he didn't used to be like that... -she looked down but went back to work-.
Rhyokyo stares at the sealing as Xion said, he was thinking, trying to remember his past...
Rhyokyo- why don't I remember anything at all?... All I remember is screaming "where is she, where is she" ... and then... the Professor put me to sleep... -he stood up and approached the wall, then he punched the wall as hard as he could- Why cant I remember?!? -he shouted in anger as he fell to his knees, then he looked down sadly- who... -with his right hand he grabbed his pendant, he looked at it, he stared at it- Who... who gave me this... and... why... -he questioned himself as he tried to remember, but his effort was in vain for now, he couldn't remember a thing-.
Both of his "sisters" heard him shout, so they ran into his dorm.
Xion- are you alright Rhyokyo? -she asked looking at him and around-.
Rhyokyo- I'm alright... -he said looking down-.
Jixian- what happened to your hand??? -she said looking at his hand almost covered in blood-.
Xion looked immediately, she grabbed his hand while she gasped.
Xion- what happened?!? -she asked looking at him-.
Rhyokyo- I just got mad... and punched the wall... -he said not caring much of his hand as he was looking down and thinking of other things-.
Jixian- we have to tell the Professor about this... -she said heading out-.
Xion- No Jixie! We cant, remember what happened last time... -she looked at Jixian seriously-.
Jixie- you're right... -she said while waving her head up and down softly and sitting down next to Rhyokyo- what are you trying to remember anyways? -she asked looking at the floor-.
Rhyokyo- I'm trying to remember many things... like for instance... why cant remember anything of my past? -he said getting angry again- and... -he calmed down and looked at the pendant once more- why cant I remember who gave me this... and why... was it perhaps my mother? Sister? Father? or perhaps someone I used to care so much about?... -he asked with a sad voice and looking at the pendant-.
Jixian seemed like she had something to say... but a flashback went to her mind, and she knew she couldn't say a thing... of anything that he questioned. Jixian knew every answer of every question Rhyokyo made... but she was forbidden to say anything at all...
Rhyokyo stood up and putted his pendant back to his neck under his spiked choker.
Rhyokyo- anyways... -he said scratching his head- anyone come up with a plan yet?
Jixian- plan? -looks at Rhyokyo and at Xion- have you two been up to something? -she asked while they both grinned-.
Xion- oh yes... just a little plan... to escape -she said with a big grin on her face-.
Rhyokyo- ever wondered why the Prof. doesnt wants us out there? And we never had the chance... so why stay here and do all these stupid chores he always makes us do, and for what? As if we would get a reward, he never has given us anything in exchange, not even a thank you -he said looking around and semi-angry-.
Xion- indeed, not even a "Thank you, I appreciate it" ... he never has thanked us and were tired of doing all he wants -she said agreeing with Rhyokyo- so Jixie... are you with us? -she asked while looking at her-
Jixian looked around and thought for the answer.
Jixian kept thinking and looking around, as if she would find the answer anywhere.
Xion- we dont have all day Jixie, we have to escape tonight -she said looking at her-.
Jixian- what?!? why tonight??? -she asked looking at Xion and stood up-.
Rhyokyo- Because, we cant stay here anymore, lately the Prof. has been acting... weird... -he said thinking-.
Xion- and by weird we mean evilly... we've never seen him so full of greed, wrath and envy... also so full of himself... -she said with a low voice-
Rhyokyo- yes, coming up with evil plans, always angry no matter what, I mean, its not just freaky but weird, he wasn't like that before... I mean, who knows what he's planning every night, all I hear from my dorm is "YES!" or "NO NO NO!" and even sometimes "What if..." It totally freaks me out... -he said worried and concerned-.
Jixian- what if we speak to him? -she asked with an innocent look-.
Xion- Jixie, you know we have to go sooner or later, and it will be tonight, maybe you dont understand much since you're younger and with less experience, and he has always treated you better than us -she said while she putted her hand on Jixian's shoulder-.
Jixian- whats that supposed to mean? -Jixian asked looking at Xion and at Rhyokyo-.
Xion- you'll understand when you get older -she smiled at Jixian and looked up- now... what do you say?
Jixian thought again, they we're right, they had to go since the past years the Professor had been acting "weird". She thought for a few seconds, and came up with the answer...
Jixie- alright... but don't we have to rest? At least a bit -she said while yawning- Im tired and I want to sleep -she said with tired eyes-.
Xion- sure but... we're all sleepy... and it's still daylight... -yawns-.
Rhyokyo- its noon, and the Prof. hasn't come back yet, means he'll be late, perhaps we'll escape before he even appears -Rhyokyo said with one hand on his face and his fingers covering his mouth as a sign that he was thinking- I'll stay awake, Ill wake you both up in the right time and when to escape -he said walking up to his bed, and then lying on his bed-.
Xion- right, thanks Rhyokyo, now come on Jixie, lets rest a bit before we escape -she said walking out with Jixian-.
Jixian- Yeah -she said walking with Xion to their room-.
They kept talking but their voices we're fading as they walked away more farther, Rhyokyo of course kept awake, thinking again of trying to remember his memories and thinking about the pendant.
Hours passed by, as Jixian and Xion rested, Rhyokyo knew he had to wake them up, so he stood up, he packed a few things that he inserted in his pockets, and he was ready to go. He walked out of his room and went into theirs, he woke up Xion first, then he woke up Jixian.
Rhyokyo- well guys, lets go, now its the time and we have to get going before the Professor comes back... -he said while waking Jixian up-.
Jixian- what?... -she said slowly waking up-.
Rhyokyo said it again and slowly while grinning because it was time to get out of their "living hell".
Rhyokyo- its time Jixian -he said again while smiling and looking at both of them-.
