7:19 AM Wow! I haven't updated my journal since father's day!? YEESH!
Ok to start off with, I'm right now getting ready to leave for Florida. I'll be spending about 12 days there so wish us luck on our plane trip *fingers crossed*.
In artist news: I've hit a massive artist's block. The worst one yet. I've kindof lost all drive to continue drawing, and when I've tried I for some reason have forgotten temporarily how everything was done! I'm bringing my things down to FL to try and rekindle my skills.
In gaming news: I've gone out and stockpiled on several new games. One game which I wanted since release was Supreme Commander. When I finally got it last week, I unfortunately couldn't play it due to Vista. Funny how both are made by Microsoft, yet SC's DVD you-don't-have-to-use-the-disk-to-play feature messes with the OEM of Vista. It kept showing up as a blank DVD and I couldn't install. However, reading up on a few remedies and eventually modifying them for my own use, I was able to install it! I had to use one of our other machines, my father's very old one in the next room, to setup a 'network'. I then copied the contents of the DVD, which was readable on his machine, to my shared folder on Vista. So far the game hasn't given me an ounce of trouble and I'm THRILLED with it! WHAT A GREAT RTS GAME!!!
I've also gone out and added 2 new DS games to my arsenal. My gaming friends from college already had their own...o I finally submitted and went out to become a...Pokemon fan...once again lol. I got Pearl, though I really wanted Diamond cuz it had a blue legendary- I was told Pearl users weren't many so it was hard finding and trading the unique pokemon. Eh, one day I'll snag Diamond too- until then Pearl is fine and dandy! I also snagged a Pokemon clone called Spectrobes. I haveta say this game could potentially be a competitor in the Pokemon franchise, if they continue it.
I also got the game Genesis: Rising- this game will be returned...as it is not my cup of tea... Dont know how you can have an RTS and not have a Skirmish/Single player fights as many computers in a random map battle as you can (I love those ones. Just trying to trounce the pc's are fun, especially having PC allies. Ugh- gonna miss Supreme Commander in FL ).
I've also recently been looking online for very old RPG style games. Games like Might and Magic VII - IX. I have Might and Magic VI and when I usedta play it I had fun. Games like Wizards & Warriors (not the nintendo one) and Wizardry 8 have also appeared on my list. Looking online, these games often go for- get this- 3 - $7. MAN what a steal these will be (when I buy them lol).
Lets see...what else...what else.... ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... I guess I can talk about my love life.
Sasha has been the greatest gal I've met to this date. She talks to me, sends me pictures, and we're planning on seeing each other this December biggrin She's so smart and funny- but I gotta watchout cuz that smartness of hers makes her clever! And crafty! Still though- she is very caring and loyal. Those things I take HIGHLY and perhaps FIRST in ANY successful relationship. She tells me things, the truth on things, to help stop my suspicious nature or paranoia. Ah what a gal :3 Still learning a lot about her- as she is me, but so far we're happy with the lover we snagged lol ^^.
So ok, um, I guess that's all. Gotta go finish packing and then we're outta here. I'll hopefully talk to everyone later biggrin
PIP PIP CHEERIO AND ALL THAT!
