I can't stand Mourning Doves. They are so, well, stupid. I always have a whole bunch of them at the bird feeders at my house. They usaually aren't much of a pain, but today they were just plain annoying. scream

In one way, and only one way, they are smart, because they fly away once a human gets within twenty feet of them. But c'mon! I was able to get closer to a Ring-necked Pheasant than that today!

Oh, yeah, back to how annoying they are. They wake you up in the morning with their stupid mournings. They are so raspy sounding when they make that call.

And the worst part of them? They are constantly chittering when they are flying away. While I was observing them (but I was actually trying to read), I noticed that the doves always made noises when they flew from "danger". They're never quiet. And they were never in danger at the time.

I think I've found enough fault in doves for now. I've been wanting to complain about them for a loooong time now; I've just never gotten to it; or I'd forget... xd
