"So, Oasis and Rafe, do you like George?"
I looked up from my parmesan potatoes. "Yeah, George's cool."
"No, mom, I love George," Rafe replied in a suggestively joking manner.
"Would you mind him living with us?"
*double take* W-W-WHAT!?
It's not that I mind; I gave my consent to the whole idea, since George is kind of like a big brother type, we've always gotten along, and he's family. But seriously? We barely have enough money to pay the mortgage, let alone fund a dead-beat.
I think it would be fun having George live here. Like I said, he'd be like and older brother, something I've never had. My mom's got this idea in her head that we could somehow change his ways and make him feel like he has a purpose, but at the same time, she thinks it's an accomplishment that he hasn't gotten some girl knocked up already. Great moral values, mom. *thumbs up*
I sound like I'm not in favor of this idea, huh? Ugh . . . Well, I dunno. It was hard living with a mentally retarded guy (we took care of that dude for about three years, I think). It'd be much easier to deal with a kid with problems who I know and love.
Anyway, I just thought I'd voice my opinion on that. In other news, Junior's gone into his cocoon. Even though he's on a branch, the cocoon's both brown and green. I think that's because the green lid was reflecting onto him when he turned. Crazy, huh?
Also, Mini's growing up really quickly. In the wild, the caterpillars lose their brown coat before they lose their spines, instead of losing them at the same time. I can't wait till we can bring her in.
