Slowly Karasu closed her eyes. Her thoughts went trough her head, like a twister. Allot had happened. In one fire she had lost her house and her mother. She lived in a forest, far away from other humans. While she was walking in the forest the fire started. Her mother was sleeping and when she woke up, it was to late.
Nothing was left here anymore for Karasu. All she had was her mother and her house. She never had desire to live with other humans, ‘cause she was different. She always felt it. Her mother told her when she was little to always look after Ravenheart. Ravenheart was a raven. Born on the same time as Karasu, and they were connected. Karasu was a nymph. So if one of them was hurt, the other also felt pain. Probably if one of them would die, so would the other.
Karasu opened her eyes. She looked down the cliff. She know, she shouldn’t give in to her sorrow, but she was left alone. She lost the little she had, Than she knew it, her life was complete. She took a last look at Ravenheart and the burning house and jumped.
The wind grabbed her hair, when she was falling down. All her tears were blown away from her face. She closed her eyes and let all her fears go.
She was running. She stopped when she was blinded by the light of the burning house. She saw a dark shadow of a man, with a wing like shadow. But they couldn’t be real, a little bit of the light shined trough it. The man disappeared in the forest.
Than it came to her. She needed to life, needed to take revenge for her mothers dead. ‘I want to life!’ She screamed. ‘I’ll help you.’ Was the answer.
Karasu opened her eyes. She was alive, but were was she? Around her there lay some black feathers. She stood up. Her body felt heavier. She felt something weird. At that moment it came to her. She had grown wings! Ravenheart was sitting next to her. ‘What am I?’ Karasu asked. ‘Some might say your special, others might say weird. You’ve grown wings of a raven and kept the body of a human.’ Karasu gazed at Ravenheart for a while. ‘So I’m an angel?’ She asked. ‘No, you’re a nymph. You already knew that, but apparently not that you could grow wings’ Ravenheart answered. ‘Some humans would kill for such powers.’ Karasu sat down again. She wasn’t really surprised. She didn’t even had to ask what happened. All became clear.
She was gazing at the stars, while she thought about all that happened. After a while she spoke again. ‘I can use these powers to take revenge, right? I want to take revenge for my mothers dead. When I felt down, I saw a man with some sort of wings too. He probably put on the fire, ‘cause he wanted nobody else to have these sort of powers, right?’ Ravenheart stared at her and then he answered. ‘I don’t see any reason to kill you or your mother. You aren’t that special. You can’t take revenge with these powers. Soon your wings will disappear, it already begun.’ Karasu looked at her wings. Sadly Ravenheart was right. Her wings almost disappeared, just like the feathers.
Ravenheart spoke again. ‘It’s time for you to start a normal life. You’re not far away from the city anymore. You can meet people.’ ‘I don’t want to!’ Ravenheart ignored her. ‘It’s better if you forget your old life and start all over again. I’ll be there when you need me, just call my name.’ Than ravenheart flew away.
Tears start coming. She was alone. No dreams left, only nightmares. Ravenheart was right, she should forget. The wings already fully disappeared. She hold the last feather in her shaking hands. Slowly it faded, together with her memories. Slowly Karasu closed her eyes.
Once again don't mind my grammes to much. It sucks. I still have english class. That's why I wrote the story (so if you see faults tell me please whee )
I actually kinda liked the story, might write a longer story. One page ain't much at all. Good Night, BaiBaiBai.
