I got up this morning at 10:00 instead of 10:30 so that I would have the time to re-sign my lease before going to work. So I got ready and my roommate was about because he just had a 7day workweek and we talked and he said, "Ya know, I don't know if I've ever told you this, but you're a pretty good roommate." It was really nice to hear the compliment from him because he often doesn't say nice things to people. I was so happy about what he said that I decided to clean the bathroom this morning... I know, it's a random reason to clean the bathroom, but I was in a good mood and I had the time. So about 11:00 I start heading out. I get on the freeway to go to work when I realise, "Oh s**t! I need to sign my lease!" So, I head back and get to the office at 11:30 with just enough time to get to work. I go to sign the lease and I ask what the date is?
"June twenty-second." Replies my landlord. "What?! No way! Today's Thursday!" "Um, no it's Friday--Thank Goodness!" Well, finding this out made me a little sad because I don't really work on Fridays which means that I didn't really have to wake up early this morning, but when I think about it... If I hadn't gotten up for work I wouldn't have cleaned the bathroom... So, all is well. I'm just a little tired.
