I sit on the ground
Staring at the sky
Waiting for the right moment

The sky is lit with stars
Shining bright
And never losing their glow

The moon shows half it's face
Only revealing it's almost midnight
While trying to persuade the stars to fall

Comets streak the sky with their brilliant tails
Showing their unknown path
Letting the atmosphere take them wherever

Stars fall down
Showing the have grown tired with age
And give you the chance to make a wish

I fall back on the ground
And stare at the full sky
Seeing only what my eyes bring up

The night sky
Always has its ways
And we shall never know what they are
