The first time I was over at a friend's house... I got homesick. I had to call home and talk with my dad to feel better. I assumed he'd notice that I was nodding in response, over the phone, because I'm bad like that. I'm still bad like that. I have trouble acknowledging people verbally. Meek voice or bad communication skills and all that.
So he had to pick me up from Shelly's house. I was better next time.
