I'm falling into crisis
and falling for regret
I shouldn't be like this
but now I can't forget
What a fool I've been
for ever believing in
your love; it wasn't real
but my heart I let you steal
And now I'm on my own
with memories so bittier
to fight this battle alone
and hope things would get better
But with a heart that's still stolen
I'm only left to be broken...
I tried to be the best
to stand out from the rest
to catch your eye and attention
to win this competition
Afraid that in this crowd
I'd be swept away
Covered by a shroud
and simply thrown away.
