Nothing lasts forever

A never ending walk, down a silent beach.
Days and nights, with endless smiles.
Minutes go by, we enjoy every and each.

The darkness

There's a light just above me,
I never saw it before,
I was buried in darkness,
but darkness was what I wanted to see.

I used to look down, right down towards the floor,
so hurt and confused, so betrayed by your words,
all there was, was darkness,
a huge bottomless pit I would explore.

but now if I look up, look up towards the sky,
what I see is the sun shine, its shining down on me,
I stopped thinking of my loss and thought of what's to come,
and now without you I can fly.
