Mom, you gave me life and wished me all good things,
You helped me take off on silver wings.
My care for you is enough to say,
"Mom, I love you every single day."
You deserve every little gift you get,
Not lies, not worries, and not threats.
I love the fact that you wish me all the happyness I could find,
But I wish that you could also be happy and unwind.
This poem is to tell you how much I care,
For all of the things in this world you bare,
Are sometimes just too hard,
That you cry and let down your guard.
This upsets my every being,
Because it is too much for me to be seeing.
No matter what, you always get through your hardships,
And that is what keeps your love in my grips.
This is why I am proud to say that you are my mom,
Because no matter what, you will always be da bomb! burning_eyes
This poem is for my mom, because she is going through a tough time right now and I want to help her out as much as I possibly can. She is pretty much my closest relative and I wouldn't want that any other way.
This also goes out to the other moms who just can't get away from life's hardships. For this I say: There are others like you and you are not alone. Just get through it and sure enough happyness will find you.
