	Funny story... sort of While working on the mockup for the new navigation that went out today, I went looking for the longest username I could find on Gaia as an example to consider in design, which happened to be "long username is longgggg". Sorry to the Gaia member if he/she is offended by using the username for testing. sweatdrop It looks like from forum posts I'm reading that the username is a parody on something called long cat, also something I had no idea about. I'm really not up to speed on web memes (ironic since I work for a web company), so that was unintentional too.

	The update looks interesting, to say the least. Edit: I just randomly thought of something that might be a big hit in future navigation updates: A custom bar where you could put your 4 or 5 most commonly visited parts of the site (ex: Mail, Dressing, Forums, Marketplace) That way instead of mixing everything together people could personalize it to their preferences and have a quick access to their most favorite parts of the site... because I already noticed the new update isn't doing to well due to the lack of quicker access for certain things.

	Yeah, that was very much a 4chan meme. Just be careful. If you might be unsure, ask around to see if anyone recognizes it from somewhere else. You have some memebers on your development team who are familiar with the memes themselves. Normally the memes are quite harmless.

	The longgg thing was hilarious, though <3 420chan was mad at Subeta for using the Longcat Meme (Longcat is lonnnggg), and uhm, well, in the end you should know that lots of Gaia Accounts were logged into without their expressed permission. The interface isn't working so well for me, but I am sure everything will be fixed up soon. heart EDIT: Oh lookie here, it's only broken in firefox, my favorite browser. What joy! ^^;;

	rofl ignorance is bliss (or so they say). xd that's funny that you didn't know anything about it. it's even funnier than if you had intended it as a reference to the meme. the new navigation is okay, i've yet to find something i really like about it. it's reminds me of how the navigation used to be before we got the drop down arrow (which i sort of miss). if you guys have time, could you add dress up under My Gaia?

	I'm sorry Ling, you're a fantastic person... but I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate the new layout. All this change did was make it harder for users to navigate. The "hovering" feature doesn't work for me (I think it's firefox, which a LARGE percentage of Gaians use), and I can't read my total gold amount because my avatar hides it. Everything's harder to find now. gonk Sorry, but I hate this.

	Yah, before I read this journal I thought the use of that particular meme for the example was you guys taking a shot at 4chan (like mini-revenge or taunting or something). sweatdrop The new navigation works fine for me. It was glitchy at first but I'm fine with it now. Reminds me of the navigation we had back when Gaia used flash.

	Yeah, the whole Long Cat meme was, more or less, the reason why 420-chan attacked Subeta users on Gaia. ._.; I don't like the empty space. It seems very...naked.

	Nods You have to be careful, Ling. Memes that pertain to the chans can get out of control if used on a site...it's even worse since the chans hate Gaia Online.

	I feel like one of the few that didn't automatically associate it with that stupid longcat. Then again, I don't find 4chan amusing in the slightest. As for the new navi... The blank empty space is really boring.

	I was kind of worried about provoking 420chan. I now understand that wasn't intended but you never know. Alot of users put a "I survived the raid" image in their sigs and I was thinking that would provoke them too. lol That's their problem though. Keep up the good work! Don't get bored! 	xD It reminds me of what one of you commenters said in your previous journal entries about the fear of long words, instead it's a user name which is literally the longest one probably litteraly called that. xD Though, I have no clue who 420chan is or long cat, though it sounds like from commenters they were hackers...? Ori? @-@;;; Confused xD That does seem a bit ironic.
