Every year, at the Spring Concert, at the end... our seniors (I'm not speaking about school choir, but these girls ARE seniors, for they are going off to college and will no longer be in out choir), come forward and sing Time to Say Goodbye. This song had meant all that much to me... I mean, I knew it was emotional, but not like it was this year. I am going to miss our seniors... and this song is so beautifully sad it really finishes it off well. After we do sing Feeling Good, so that perks the mood up for the finally. (Not the Feeling Good most people know.)
The thing is, I know eventually, my time will come to sing this. I could go off and learn it now... but I think I'll wait. The seniors tend to be up there, still holding the music due to lack of time to learn it, and honestly, I want to be the same. As rediculous as it sounds.
Time to Say Goodbye
That is the song. However, there are fewer people singing it, and it is much softer and sweeter. Also, there are no solos. Just the eight of them.
I have no idea why I posted all this. I just wanted to say it I suppose.
