Ok, so probably no one will read this because apparently I havent been the best "friend" that I can be lately, but I still thought that I would put it out there anyway.<br/>I have had the most wonderful gift of picking and choosing my friends. I don't select people that I know I wouldn't get along with, or friends that weren't long term. But apparently I've been making all of my friends mad now, just because my life seems too busy for them. Yes, I do have a boyfriend now, but that has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with me not having time to hang out with anybody. In case my friends haven't noticed, I work 2 jobs, and I go to school full time. That's pretty much it. I don't GET to hang out with friends, I RARELy get to spend time with my boyfriend (despite popular belief) and I DONT get time to myself. I babysit when I'm needed (part time auntie) and sometimes I don't get my homework done because I'm watching my niece. So for all of you awesomely selected friends out there....I haven't forgotten about you and the times that you've been there for me. But, apparently you all have forgotten all the times I have been there for you in the past. So do those random acts of showing up at someone's house unannounced, even if they aren't home, amount to nothing? Or fighting so much that it brings us closer? Or settling our differences when we were so grumpy after a long journey? Am I really that bad of a friend that all my helpfulness and kindness is automatically negated? This pains me deeply....to think that the most best friends that I could ask for are turning against me, just because my life is a little busy right now....I guess I really will be alone in the future like my dad said huh? |
