There she stays,
floating lonesome in the sky.
She beams of beauty, but unaware of it.
Stars scattered around her, yet she is still isolated.
Everyone admires the beauty and fails to capture
her etherealness.
Constantly the stars whisper to the moon how
wonderful she is; the moon will never believe the
sweet nothings that the stars utter to her.
If the sun couldn't bare to be around the moon,
then how beautiful can she really be?
She will never be as fierce as the sun;
she cannot punish those who collide or step on her.
Anyone can take over her and she cannot stop it.
She will always be the sun’s shadow.
