What you said that night broke hearts.
Through a cell phone fueled by fearful words you let my pain start.
Lips telling me this is the end.
Hands drawing me a picture of our past,
in the darkened streets our bodies blend.
THIS WILL BE A FAIR TRADE!
YOU AND I WILL FADE!
GO AWAY!
You said you didn't think this would work out.
I pretended I didn't care and tried to run but my legs gave out.
You gave me anger which I took out on my closest friends, converting them to strangers of whom I knew nothing about.
Contagious words I'm compelled to say.
I don't want you to stay.
Today, I want you to Go Away.
My plan for us was ruined with all the times you lied.
I never could have seen through the secret even though I tried.
Failure consumes my soul,
you can't fix this, I'm broken.
Neither you nor I can take away the words I've spoken.
My path lies in our scarred willow,
the truth you deny.
Memories of you like red smoke bleeding into the sky.
A false relationship was your threat.
Knives masqueraded as my breath feels the regret.
Same sorrow everyday and I still feel numb.
Skulls in my cupboard calling you to come.
The corpse's cries pulling leather strings on how I feel.
Complementing your paintings, telling me what's real.
WHAT YOU SAID THAT NIGHT BROKE HEARTS!
GO AWAY!
