A musician’s heart
As you and my music intertwine
can you hear that persistent beat
Of a musicians heart
Can you see the complicated melody,
Intricate chords made of experience,
Written on my skin
Do you ever think about the notes
That in an acapella harmony creates
My thoughts and being
It’s a perfect contrast of baritones
And sopranos, A complicated duet,
you will never play

- There's a lot you want to convey, but from the reader's end it's not reaching fully. I play music, so I think perhaps I understand some of the passion, the being, the soul of being one with the sounds. What if you worked on lengthening each phrase, giving it more "Bars" so to speak before you return. Maybe through a DC in there somewhere too... That could be interesting to put the opening phrase at the end as well, after having gone through your poem's musical analogies.
