I face the unknown
Take another step all alone
Further into the darkness
I am too curious
Somewhere beyond the shadows
This place is godless
Filled with demons and lies
But I'm the one in disguise
Here in the darkness
I tear down the walls
Infect everything in my way
It's a game I want to play
With my own bare hands I smash
Tear down the walls till I crash
Trying to break free and explore
What I'm unknowingly long for
In the night I perceive
There must be a way to believe
That I can break through

I wanted to try something dark but not too depressing.
I ended up with this. And I am really unsure about the ending of this poem. So many things that rhyme with believe but didn't really matched.
The word 'night' was actually the word 'darkness' but I changed it because I thought the word would be in the poem too much. Not sure if it really fits tho. :/
