    I lay on the ground,
    Cold, sad, and darkened,
    Hoping and praying,
    You would save me

    I slowly lay myself down,
    On the clod white blanket,
    Shivering, and crying,
    Then you came

    You saved me from the cold,
    Wrapped in your warm hands,
    Thanking you for the time we share,
    As I slip back into my reality

    I lay alone on the white blanket of snow
