In the depths of night
blood was spilled.
With the break of morning
puddles had formed.
The sun high at noon
had yellow tape spread.
Ending the day with the falling of the sun
caused all to go away.
The lifeless scene of a murder
was put into words
and shoved into a file.
Why was it not solved?
It is because people don’t care of the past.

I think that the last line made the flow off. It would have been better if you left it to end with the line before the last. Oh, and the 7th line had to many words. I thought it might have been better with out "ending the day" and left it at "with the falling of the sun, all go away."
