This Feeling
How is it? that this feeling now appeared
not so subtle, and so very profound
could it be? what i have most truly feared
I shrink back, as it begins to surround
it's happiness brings a smile to face
the giant risk troubles my love struck heart
the pain left fast with one single embrace
what will I do if our paths ever part?
can I stop it? make the happiness last?
I worry the worst, but hope for the best
will you just become part of my sad past?
or will you keep the heart beneath my chest?
