    Am I a Ghost ,
    as invisible as air?
    Overshadowed?
    Invisible?

    Or am I like sand
    insignificant yet everywhere
    washed away without a fight?

    Am I a shadow
    seen but never heard
    overlooked by the beauty of the world?

    Am I a caged bird
    trapped against my will
    trained to obey
    trained to be ignored
    hoping for freedom?
