Three lights flare down the eastern path,
As the journey for answers begins,
All the hopefull adventurers, ambitious and bright,
Leave thier homes with the frivolous winds.
Though thier journey may end,
It must first begin,
All must try to ever fail or succeed.
Trees can grow into giants of immearsurable size,
But first you must sow the seed.
Two lights flare down the eastern path,
One quest lost, the light bearer gone,
But the memory remains, the legend is writ,
The journey, shall be sung in song.
Tall tales shall be told of the toil,
And the story passed through history far,
Lest a thought, made true, bring turmoil,
And call oblivioun, who has no par.
What if the memory was lost, the legend not scribed?
And there was no song to be sung 'bout the fire?
Then the journey's tale would disappear,
And to be the adventurer, none could aspire.
If something is lost and forgotten,
And to find it, no-one ever shall,
Would the World, in all its complexness,
Say that existing, that thing ever was?
One light flares down the eastern path,
The last task left to the last light,
All the others wait, with bated breath,
and only that one gleaming glow in their sight.
Against all odds, against all evil,
Against the world, and even himself,
He struggles bravely, on and on,
And he plans to,
Till his last breath is gone.
And though no-one walks beside him,
And no dog does he own,
He has the will of his loved ones,
So he does not walk alone.
The Sun now flares down the eastern path,
And peace reigns through the land, for a time,
The last hero returns, free to live out his life,
And to be with his most precious one.
They say if you love someone dearly,
You will give them your most precious thing,
And no matter how much you adore it,
You will give it with no lingering.
But how, can you give to one something,
When that something, is the one to recieve?
If one thinks that they love someone truly,
Then this is something, they themself, must concieve.
